This project was the result of a collaboration between 3 universities “Alexandria University, Egypt”, “Université Paris-Malaquais ,France” and “Université Val-de-Seine, France”. A number of students from " Alexandria University" were asked to join the French students from "25/3/2023" to "31/3/2023" to visit, research and analyze the urban fabric of the historical district "Mina El-Bassal”. At the end of the expedition, we presented our analysis and initial proposals for adaptive reuse to revitalize the district while respecting and preserving its historical identity.
